  • 1 lb Chicken breast Seasoned with Cajun spices
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz Andouille sausage Sliced

Vegetables

  • 1 cup Bell peppers Chopped
  • 1 cup Onion Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced

Spices

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning Can adjust for desired spice level

Dairy Components

  • 1 cup Heavy cream For sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 8 oz Cream cheese For sauce

For Sauté

  • 2 tbsp Butter For sautéing vegetables
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing vegetables

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions.
  • Season chicken with Cajun spices and set aside.
  • Prepare and chop vegetables.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté the bell peppers, onions, and garlic until softened.
  • Add chicken and sausage, cooking until chicken is no longer pink.
  • Deglaze with chicken broth.
  • Mix in cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until melted and combined.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning, mixing well.
  • Toss in cooked pasta, ensuring it is well-coated with sauce.

Notes

Cajun pasta can be adapted for different proteins like shrimp or vegan options with tofu. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
